    Agave Vilmoriniana AKA the Octopus Agave is a species native to Mexico, and characterized by its spineless, long, and twisting leaves.
     
    Specimens in nature are found to prefer cliffsides in areas throughout Mexico. They can be found at elevations between 600 and 1,700 meters!
     
    Fun Fact: The Octopus Agave has a high concentration of smilagenin, a natural soap-like product. Traditionally, leaves are dried and beaten into a brush infused with this soap!
